The new travelling exhibition gallery at the - Prince of Wales Museum, in Mumbai, has been donated to the Museum by the PRS Group. The gallery bears the name of the Group's founder, Premchand Roychand and has been established in his honour.

The opening of the Premchand Roychand Gallery was celebrated on 21 November 2002. Four generations of the Premchand family were present at this special occasion. Click here to view some photos of the opening.

In his speech to the invited guests, Mr. Sushil K. Premchand stated that it is an honour for the Premchand family to be associated with the East Wing renovation and that this new space would help translate the Museum into a more attractive centre for learning, especially for children, with an exciting opportunity to add international cultural exchange to a globalising India.
